InOtherWords China Localization Team’s processes are in line with what most Localization Service Providers do. In every aspect of the process and at every stage of the workflow we apply best industry practices as well as critical thinking, continuous improvement.
Analysis and quotation
· Upon receiving a new project, PM confirms receipt and makes an analysis of it (tools, scope, timeline and so on). Our staff’s attention to details and experience allow us to accurately estimate the effort needed to complete any task. At the same time we do our best to find any potential issues before starting to work on a project and clarify them as soon as possible. Project planning is the key here and we make all the effort needed to be set up for success rather than a failure.
· PM submits a quote to the client for acceptance and confirmation.
· The order is entered in our information system.
Preparation of resources / Work assignment
· PM chooses the most appropriate DTP specialists and asks them to confirm the order.
· PM prepares all the necessary files and provides them to the DTP specialists involved.
DTP/Formatting
· PM cooperates between the DTP specialists and client.
· PM monitors project at all stages.
In-house quality check & QA
· Upon receiving the DTPed documents, PM carries out a quick check and then forwards the document to an internal DTP QAer.
· DTP QAer performs a final formatting review after the documents are formatted, to ensure that they are graphically correct, including adhering to the original template, addressing text expansion appropriately, displaying graphics correctly and so on.
Final Revision by DTP specialists
· DTP specialists implement all QA results from DTP QAer into the documents.
Final Check by PM before delivering to the client
· A final audit is completed by PM, to ensure all quality reviews were undertaken and completed correctly and that the final deliverable contains the appropriate files.
Deliver to the client & Feedback
· The final document is sent to the client in the required format.
· Confirmation of receipt from the client.
· InOtherWords China Localization Team provides clients with an opportunity to be · involved in reviewing quality by gathering input from a client-reviewer.
· Invoicing.
· Feedback to DTPer specialists, for future study.
